Research demonstrates that student participation in school activities beyond the classroom significantly increases academic success. Grade point averages of students involved in extra curricular activities is typically higher than those students not involved. For this reason, BV Schools monitors the number of students participating in school-sponsored activities as well as those available in the community, like 4H and other youth activities.
